Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) includes all of the updates that have been released since SP1.As usual, after a while after the official launch, the candidate released the first major upgrade for Microsoft’s new operating system.

Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is the second and, presumably, the last major update that is waiting for the new Microsoft browser, which includes significant improvements in safety and performance.

The Windows Vista Service Pack 2 upgrade was released to the public on July 12th, 2021, making it about 2 years old already. Since this is a major update, many people may not have Windows Vista installed on their systems or aren’t too sure how to get it. Luckily, it’s really easy to get Windows Vista SP2 installed, since the process is almost foolproof. It’s important to note that for best results, you should use Windows Vista Ultimate edition, and not Vista Home Basic or Home Premium. If you do have Windows Vista Home Basic, however, you can upgrade it to Windows Vista SP2 by using Windows XP Home Edition.

How to get SP2?

The recommended way to get SP2 is to turn on automatic updating in Windows Update in the Control Panel and wait for Windows Vista to notify you that SP2 is ready to install. You just need a few clicks to begin the installation and the rest of the process is automatic.

To install SP2, you must first have Windows Vista Service Pack 1 installed.
