Windows MEmost infamous operating system, Windows Me. ISO is bootable with no problem on the VMWare Workstation. Product keys for this OS are everywhere so I won’t be including one.
Windows Millennium Edition (Windows ME) was released by Microsoft in September 2000 as a successor to Windows 98, targeted primarily at home users. Below is a guide to installing Windows ME:
Prerequisites:
Windows ME Installation CD or bootable USB drive.
Product Key: Typically found on the packaging or in an email if purchased digitally.
Backup of Important Data: If you’re installing over an existing OS, back up your data.
Hardware Requirements:
Processor: Pentium 150 MHz or higher.
Memory: 32 MB of RAM (64 MB recommended).
Hard Drive Space: At least 320 MB of free space (more recommended for additional applications and data).
Installation Steps:
Insert the Windows ME installation CD or connect the bootable USB drive.
Restart your computer.
Enter the BIOS/UEFI setup by pressing a key during startup (usually Del, F2, F10, or Esc) and set the CD/USB as the primary boot device.
Save changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI setup. Your computer should now boot from the installation media.
